John Molander & John Pappalardo  Videographers

-'Weir Fishing on Nantucket Sound'-

John Molander braved the icey waters of Nantucket Sound to shoot the underwater footage for this project. Meanwhile videographer John Pappalardo was topside, ducking in and out of the maze-like nets and poles.

Molander runs Deep-6 Diving in Chatham and Pappalardo is a staff-member at the Cape Cod Commercial Hook Fishermen's Association.

Stephanie Hunt wrote and produced the 3 and 6-minute versions of the film "Ban Processor Quota" for the Cape Cod Commercial Hook Fishermen's Association and the Alaska Marine Conservation Council.

Weir Fishing on Nantucket Sound- Fishtown Part 3

These three talented musicians, principals with the Cape Cod Fiddlers, created the original soundtrack, recorded in the studio with the live footage of the weir fishermen at work.

-'Longlining on the Bad Dog'-

Jenna coordinated research, stock footage, and music acquisition for this documentary about longlining. What did this entail? Long distance phone calls to Canada, Scotland, and obscure government and museum archives, and one memorable trip to Woods Hole poring over miles of murky underwater footage hoping for just one glimpse of a dogfish.

One Handed Molly Music Video

Reade Whinnem created the film effects for the recent music video for New York City's One Handed Molly, shot at their CD release party at Luna Lounge in Greenwich Village.

Each frame of film was paintakingly hand-painted and textured. Reade's film 'Doppelganger' was nominated for a student academy award. He is a media teacher at the Yarmouth Public Schools

Lobstering on the Benjo - Fishtown Part 1

Videographer Brigid Krug braved the rough and tumble seas of Hurricane Edouard along with photographer/sound man Scott Doorley. Lobstering on the Benjo won the Bronze Award at the Charleston Film Festival.

Brigid is currently working in Australia.

Paul wrote the script for this documentary which won several awards, including the Gold Award at the Flagstaff Film Festival.

Paul is Executive Director of the Cape Cod Commercial Hook Fishermen's Association (see our links) and is also a commercial fisherman himself.

Scott Doorley- Sound Recordist

Lobstering on the Benjo- Fishtown Part 1

Scott Doorley currently teaches at the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University

He has worked as unit cinematographer on CBS’s Big Brother, Fox Sports’ The Best Damn Sports Show Period, and on various shows for ESPN. He has production sound mixing credits on over 40 television shows for NBC, ABC, TLC, A&E, Vh-1, MTV, FOX and The History Channel and has worked in the sound department on over 15 independent feature films including Twin Falls Idaho and Happy Texas.

Scott’s art directing experience includes commercials for Honda and Kia Motorcars among others. Beyond his various technical roles, Scott has also acted in several films including a supporting role in Dean Quixote, a feature film produced by Victor Simpkins, producer of the film Swingers.
